EPLAN Schematic documentation according to standards

Target audience

The course is aimed at users who design machines or plants in mechatronics. Previous attendance at the EPLAN Electric P8 Basic Course Part 1 and Part 2, or equivalent experience is required to attend this course.

Objectives

The introduction of the IEC 81346 and IEC 61355 standards has a major impact on electrical design. The course shows with practical examples in EPLAN Electric P8 how to apply the theoretical standards.

  • Review of relevant standards for EPLAN Electric P8.
  • Use of IEC 81346 for project structure.
  • Structuring of machine/plant by function, location or product.
  • Structure of item designations.
  • Documentation according to IEC 61082.
  • Designations and handling of documentation according to IEC 61355.
  • Symbol graphics according to IEC 60617.
  • Signal and connection designations according to IEC 61175.
  • IEC 61666 terminal block/connection designations
Requirements

Course cancellation must be made in writing to EPLAN at least 14 days before the course start. If the cancellation occurs later than 14 working days before the course, 25% of the regular course price will be charged. This fee also applies to no-shows. Course packages must be used within 12 months of confirmed attendance. The course place can be transferred to another person free of charge, however we would like to receive information about this at least 3 working days before the course start. The class course fee includes course materials, lunch, and water/coffee/tea. The course is invoiced at 30 days net. If fewer than 3 people (2 people Online course) register for the course 10 working days before the course start date, the course will be cancelled or rescheduled. This will be communicated by phone or email.
